12th Philippine Hot Air Balloon Fiesta Feb. 7-10, 2008

The 12th Philippine Hot Air Balloon Fiesta is on Feb. 7-10,2008 in Clarkfield, Pampanga. My kids look forward to this event every year. It has become an annual family event for us. We wake up very early to be able to be at the site by 5:30 am. The balloons fly out early in the morning. Seeing the balloons fly out is a sight to behold. I just love the balloons flying over the horizon while the sun is just rising! It’s just perfect! This year SM CLARK  will be open at 8am! This is just perfect since you get so hungry after watching the balloons & waking up so early. There’s really nothing much to do after the fly out of the balloons & not too many restaurant choices that serve breakfast. There will also be free shuttle service from the site to SM Clark which starts at 7:30 am to 12:30 (every hour)  & resumes at 2pm every hour on the hour up to 6pm. SM is also a perfect place to cool off  because it gets really hot after 8am. You can just come back inside clark for the balloon fly-in at 5:20 pm!   For more information please check out these sites: anton.blogs.com & philskies.net
